Prior to joining HCG, Thurston served as a Legislative Correspondent for U.S. Rep. Jay Insl
ee of Washington State who sits on the powerful Energy and Commerce Committee. She effectively managed a broad range of issues including government, banking, housing, health care, and judiciary.

Thurston has overseen endorsements, fundraisers and political and media events for campaigns and elected officials.
